Decision Time for Israel

This blog today will be from a precious brother and sister who live and minister in Israel.

Greetings from Jerusalem! We are sending this out to everyone to encourage you to pray with us. As you probably know, the Durban conference is going on now, as well as the UN meetings deciding, as they see it, the fate of Israel, and some sincere - but deluded - people thinking this will lead to peace - others knowing it will not. Israel is being labeled as racist and a decision will be made about a Palestinian state. The first two Durban conferences were Israel-bashing sessions, and this one is strategically timed - again focusing on Israel as the bad guy - ignoring wicked tyrants, such as Kim Jong Il in N. Korea and those who actively threaten mass extermination such as Ahmadinejad.
This Wednesday at our weekly prayer meeting - which Chelle has been leading now for a few months, we had a large number of unexpected guests from all over the world. The theme of the prayer meeting was to be the need to pray for all nations who are now in the valley of decision, as Joel 3:1-2/14 (4:1-2/14 German) talks about ("In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat (meaning: Yahweh decides/judges). There I will enter into judgment against them concerning my inheritance, my people Israel, for they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land......Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! ).
Normally we are about 5-6 people from only about 3 nations, but this time there were from about 12, and we didn't know each other beforehand. We were one spirit and one mind for 2 hours. One of the main issues on God's heart at this time in history is for the spiritual restoration and salvation of his ancient people whose time has come to be restored to their land (read all of Ezekiel 36) in preparation for the return of Jesus to the Mount of Olives (Acts 1 and Zechariah 14). This part of the world was promised to Abraham and his descendents for ever around 1000 times in the Old Testament, and this promise is repeated in the New Testament. He wants the nations in this time of decision to stand for the truth and not fall for pseudo-history and give in to antisemitism that is now a high-level worldwide phenomenon. Satan knows he has a short time to act ("He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short" Rev. 12:12), so is stirring up nations with united effort to destroy both Israel (not live side by side in peace!) and the nations where the Christian message of salvation through Jesus has been going out the loudest - particularly America (the little Satan = Israel, and the big Satan = USA in the philosophy of Islam).
Ten days ago there was also an all-Jerusalem prayer meeting that was very well attended by several fellowships.
In the natural realm, it looks very dismal for any peace at all through the "peace process", but God asks us to "stand in the gap". Please join us in prayer, particularly on Friday, when some kind of decision is going to be made about the Middle East situation. As it looks, no matter how the vote goes, there will be no peace. Pray for the Israelis in this hour ("How awful that day will be! None will be like it. It will be a time of trouble for Jacob, but he will be saved out of it" - Jeremiah 30:7).

We are approaching the anniversary of

America

's most deadly attacks in history. September 11th proved to those throughout the world that America is vulnerable. For the Islamist who hate Christians and Jews, the attacks on America bolstered their courage to continue their assaults on freedom and the democratic principles in general. We are seeing America and other countries bombarded with the Islamic agenda of world domination. If we who love liberty and the democratic principles do not stand up and declare our Christian heritage, we will come under a system and religion that denies not only democracy, but the true living God.

Every Christian can not sit back and think these things will not touch them, for it will touch us if we do not act and proclaim the wonderful truths we believe. Christian, you can not remain silent!

What you believe is founded upon a history that goes all the way back to the Garden of Eden, a history of thousands of years with thousands of people who have lived these truths and walked in its power of love!
All of those years and people have confirmed that Jesus is Lord and that God's promises can be trusted! You are a recipient of the blessings of God and if you will walk in His truths you can be victorious in all you do!
There is no other religion that can make a claim such as those above. Islam can only trace its history and peoples back to 600AD. It has copied, un-successfully, the Bible, but without understanding the truth of the Bible. Islam denies Jesus as the Savior of the world and instead has put a man as its head, Muhammad. Islam denies God's love and demands submission to a lie that will never direct anyone to heaven.
The Christian history and truth states that God sent His Son to die for the sinner, Islam demands that you die for your sins. Now, which one would want to believe in?

Quakes and Hurricanes

Could it be that God is warning the U.S.A. and our leaders that they must not support the Palestinians and pull away from Israel? It is interesting that Washington DC had an earthquake in the very center of our government.

We must NOT pull away from supporting Israel. Remember, God, says I will curse those who curse Israel. The USA will be cursing Israel if they pull their support from her.

Islam Teaches

Islam teaches that Allah does not love transgressors, ungrateful, wrong doers, and the arrogant. But, the God of the Christians loves everyone and sent His Son to demonstrate that love for them.

Conflict's Information Beginning
